Hi. Just a quick heads up! Wednesday night into early hours of Thursday morning, potential for some snow as an area of precipitation moves north against cold air in situ across most areas of the Uk. The Zone which is the likeliest to see something wintry is anywhere between the M4 corridor up to the Birmingham/West Midlands area and across to Wales and east towards East Midlands/east Anglia. If you’re fed up with the dreary weather of late a change is on the way! An undulating jet stream will be the setup across the Uk in the days ahead , with periods of wet milder weather at times , but with some colder ,quieter conditions moving into next week with some sparkling sunshine and some frost as we go into next week as well. Gone will be the relentless rain , and that includes southern Europe as well…..

Our weather is really stuck in a rut at the moment with the Atlantic weather systems pushing wet and windy weather across the nation unable to progress much further as there is deep cold to our northeast over Scandinavia where it is likely to remain well into next week. Hello. There is much talk about a cold spell from the East into next week. Firstly, it’s still a long way off in terms of forecasting any detail, but if you’re a winter lover , then there is a signal for much colder weather from this weekend . The gfs American model shows some deep cold to our northeast over Scandinavia by then and tantalisingly close to the Uk. As always we will keep you posted for the latest info.
