It’s that time of year when the Jet steam becomes a little lazy and starts meandering up and down rather than in a straight line which is known as a “Zonal” jet stream but the wobbly jet stream is known as Meridinal and that will be affecting a large area of Western Europe in the days ahead. So changeable at times over the Uk and colder at times too, but south Western Europe seeing unseasonably wet and cool at times with some rare rainfall for the Sahara. So while rainfall is not unknown in this part of the world , it will be very unwelcome for those seeking sun and warm weather, thanks to Rossby Waves and a Meridinal jet stream!
